You want the best possible electric glider for F5J?

Look no further!

The Stork X8 is the latest development in a series of models that have been taking the F5J world in Europe by storm. It all started with the Stork X6, which has been placing well in F5J events since 2012! (see photos below)

This is a fully moulded carbon and fibreglass model that has been optimised for strength and light weight. The new X8 design has a thinner and lighter fuselage that has been moulded completely in carbon under high pressure (weighs 150g). Note that the fuselage is not 2.4 GHz friendly - extend the tips of your Rx aerials to the outside as is common practice.

The wing sports optimised aerodynamics and the centre panel is bi-lateral carbon. The wing tips and tail surfaces have been moulded in fibreglass to minimize weight. All hinge lines are sealed with a flexible sealing strip. Carbon joiner bars are supplied and are available in 3 degrees or 5 degrees. Pushrods and metal, threaded horns simply screw in to the pre-tapped holes - easy set -up! Servo covers amd MPX 6-pin connector also supplied.

The tail and fin bolt on. The bowden cable pushrods are pre-installed. The long, thin nose allows easy balancing with light weight inclusions - 28mm diameter motors and 850-3S LiPo.

This is a quality aircraft with a contest pedigree and does not come cheaply - you may need a bank loan to purchase one, but you will not be sorry that you did! There is full back-up in Australia of spare parts and technical assistance - you are in good hands with this one - better than buying overseas and working it out on your own! The only design that comes close to the Stork is the Pike Perfection - and it is more money!

Join the F5J revolution, and take part in the burgeoning number of F5J events around the country - a growing fraternity of friendly thermal fliers who enjoy an event without the hassles of winch lines!

Specifications are:

Tailplane and fin bolt on - can be removed for transport
Photo showing both bolted in place - note sturdy tailplane connection
Long nose for easy balancing - drooped to create downthrust
