Please note - Park Zone has been bought out by E-flite and the Park Zone Radian is finished! PNP kits now all gone, but RTF version is now gone as well. Spare parts still available.

E-Flite are planning to restart the Radian kit with bolt on wings, but it is quite a way off. In the meantime, an E-Flite Radian XL of 2.6m is now here - a very stable flier that comes with Rx and spoilers! Gyro stabilisation in the Rx makes this ideal to learn on.

The ParkZone Radian is a 2m foamy electric glider that has become a great hit. I have seen people learn to fly on it and I have seen people fly it in serious competition. In fact, Jamie Nancarrow came 6th in LEG at the Sailplane Expo in 2009 flying a standard Radian.

Some time ago, the South Australians implemented a one-design electric glider fun event every month in Victoria Park, Adelaide using the stock-standard Radian and it has been immensely popular. Richard Solomon bought a swag of Radians and instituted a one-class event at Picton, which was so popular it has been repeated several times and was even taken up by the Heathcote Soaring League.

The Radian event has become so popular that the AEFA are offering a Radian event at the National Rally to be held each Easter. You can either bring your own stock-standard Radian and join in the event.
There are several reasons why you should think about equipping yourself with a Radian:
• It has a proven performance record
• It is easy to fly - good for learning
• You can join in the one-class Radian glider events if you want to
• It is incredibly good value - you can either buy one fully equipped with everything you need to fly it including a 2.4 GHz radio*, or you can buy one that is equipped except for radio (comes with servos), battery and charger.
• Wings plug in and make it easy to transport
