You need a small diameter motor for an F5J model or a similar electric glider with a small nose. This is a hand-made solution, assembled in Australia using one of the best gearboxes available in the world - a Reisenauer mini!

A Leopard heli motor has been matched to the Reisenauer mini gearbox. This combination is capable of up to 2.2kg thrust for a short time with a 16x8" prop! Use a smaller prop, bring the amps down - 12x8" recommended for light models.

Includes a unique system to keep the cables away from the spinning can - a spring is attached to the motor and supports the underside of the cables, pushing them up against the fuselage side. Because it locally engineered, service is available on this motor/gearbox.

Ideal for light-weight F5J models of up to 1.6kg
